The Good Deal Comic Co. FAQ: Shipping, Returns, Grading, etc.

  • What's the shipping policy?

I use USPS Priority Mail and their high-quality service, therefore, I charge a flat rate of $7 per order. Orders are shipped within two business days unless otherwise stated.

  • What is your return policy?

You can return the comic(s) you purchased for a full refund, within 14 days (2 weeks) of receipt, if it is damaged in shipping! It may take up to one week (7 days) to get your refund processed, and you are responsible for the return shipping costs.

  • How do you ship comics?

I use Gemini Comic Flash Mailers slipped into a USPS Legal Flat Rate Envelope for orders that includes up to 12 individual comics. If your order includes more than 12 comics, or otherwise will not fit into a Gemini mailer, I use a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box, with bubble wrap, to ensure no damage is done to your comics!

  • What if the comic is damaged in shipping?

If the comic is damaged during shipping, you can return the comic (at your cost) and I will provide a full refund for the price of the comic! (See above return policy.)

  • Can I see more pictures of any of the comics for sale?

Absolutely! Just send an email to bailey@gooddealcomics.com and tell me what comic(s) you need more pictures of and how you need the pictures taken! Brighter? Got it. In a dark light? no problem! Holding it up to the sun’s rays? I mean… Sure.

  • Why do you need my email during checkout?

So I can send your receipt and other important info! I will do nothing dubious with it, I promise.

  • Do you buy comic book collections?

It depends. If you live in Central Illinois, then shoot me an email. (bailey@gooddealcomics.com) We can discuss pricing when I see the actual comics and their condition, whether that be in-person or digitally.

  • How do you estimate grading?

As I am not a professional comic book grader, I try not to be too exact to avoid being overly-inaccurate. So, I usually give a basic “low” (NG-3.0), “mid” (3.0-7.0), or “high” (7.0-9.8) grade estimate. When applicable, I may use abbreviations like PR (Poor), FR (Fair), GD (Good), VD (Very Good), FN (Fine), VF (Very Fine), NM (Near Mint) to better detail comics when I am more confident of their condition.

  • Why is there no estimated grade on so many listings?

Honestly, when I first started this website, I rushed into putting as many comics on the site as possible, so the idea of grading them slipped my mind entirely. However, I am in the process of giving a grade estimate for each listing— but it may take some time.

  • Can I buy individual comics from a listed set?

Possibly. Send an email to bailey@gooddealcomics.com and we can discuss details!
